DELHI: NDTV Convergence is organising the first edition of the New Media Congress
on 8 May in New Delhi. The New Media Congress aims to bring together some of the
best minds in the Internet and mobile domain to discuss the opportunities and
challenges. The
summit panel will comprise personalities like Reliance Entertainment president
Rajesh Sawhney, Tata Teleservices Ltd president VAS and enterprise market planning
Pankaj Sethi and Zapak Digital Entertainment COO Rohit Sharma, Rediff chairman
Ajit Balakrishnan, Reuters Asia EVP Azhar Rafee, Bharti Airtel Group CIO Jai Menon,
Motorola marketing director India and South West Asia Lloyd Mathias, NBC Universal
International Sr VP digital assets Kevin ObiMIH Nasper CEO-Mobile Kim Reid and
Microsoft Corp corporate VP communications Martha Béjar. The
sessions will be chaired by HT Media advisory editorial director Vir Sanghvi,
NDTV Networks CEO Vikram Chandra, and NDTV Convergence CEO Sanjay Trehan.
Panelists at the summit will discuss the role of developing markets and worldwide
view of industry trends, technology and its developments in the convergent world.
The
discussion will also analyse traditional media as against new media and marketing
strategies that need to be developed to maintain customer loyalty. Speaking
