NEW
DELHI: Wild Africa, a new series on wildlife adventure,
is set to premiere on Animal Planet on 17 May this year.
The
series will air on Saturdays at 8 pm.
The
six-part series will explore the natural history and the physical
forces which have shaped the pattern of life across Africa's
six key environments.
"This
is one of the most comprehensive coverage on Africa, its topography,
and its flora and fauna. Thus, the series will be a delight
for any animal or nature lover," stated Discovery Networks
India director marketing and communications Rajiv Bakshi.
Filmed
over two years in approximately 20 countries of the continent,
Wild Africa aims to explore the continent from its
natural historical background to evolution till date.
The
series will dedicate one part each week to a different environment,
which include mountains, savannah, deserts, coasts, jungles,
and lakes and rivers, thereby discovering the flora and fauna
of that area.
