MUMBAI: TCL India has launched a new range of LCDs. The LCD segment has two series - E series and M series. The E series is streamlined and the dynamic M series in LCD segment is inspired by the beautiful country France and is the winner of 2007 Emmy TV Technology Award for the on screen display (OSD) Technology and comes with extra functionality.

Its picture enhancement features include:

- DLTI (Dynamic Luminance Transient Improvement)/ DCTI – Improves response of luminance and chrominance signals respectively and makes inter-edge of the luminance and chrominance signals without further ado, then obtains an effect of vivid black-towhite transition and more mafnificient chromatic images without ghosting or smearing.

- XWCG – This is Wide colour range (XWCG) colour performance technology, which can enhance pure blue and increase colour performance for 30 per cent, adapted colourless distortion gamma positive electricity cicuit to avoid aberration.

The LCD segment also comes with integrated sound effect that includes integrated speaker and multiform sound effects that gives high quality sound production and a true home theatre experience with the built-in bass, treble, balance adjustable system and sound equalizer.

Another feature is the inclusion of three High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) connections. This means when connected to a set up box, DVD or DTV, HDMI allows transmission of both visual and audio digital signal.

Through the enhancement and optimisation of subsidiary megapixel LCD arrangement, the wide viewing angle can reach 178 degrees. With the pure black driver technology, it provides a visual display with pure clear, faithful, colour and stunning clarity.
