BabyFirst to debut on Hong Kong cable

MUMBAI: BabyFirst, a TV channel for babies, toddlers and their parents, will debut its 24/7 commercial-free programming service on Hong Kong Cable. The service will commence on 31 March at 6 am.

BabyFirst TV will be carried on Hong Kong Cable TV's channel 138, and will be included as part of its Happy Kids Pack.

"We are delighted to forge a partnership with Hong Kong Cable and to deliver BabyFirst programming to its subscribers," said BabyFirst EVP distribution Glenn Kopelson.

"Recognised by operators worldwide as a most comprehensive and parent-friendly commercial-free child development channel, BabyFirst is on the fast track to rapid global expansion, having launched in such important international markets in Europe, Latin America and Asia," added Kopelson.

"BabyFirst provides our subscribers the highest quality in child development and education content. We are proud to offer a unique channel like BabyFirst and look forward to a long and successful association with this outstanding programming service," said Hong Kong Cable executive director Benjamin Tong.

Interested viewers can subscribe to the Happy Kids Pack at a monthly fee of HK$60 or HK$50 for a 12-month contract.
