MUMBAI: National Geographic Television International (NGTI) Kids has entered into international tie ups with broadcasters for Are We There Yet? It is a global adventure series which is hosted by kids.

While the property has been licensed to Playhouse Disney in Australia and New Zealand, Tiji France, the Hop Channel in Israel, has also acquired the license for the same.

Are We There Yet? has been created, produced and written by Sinking Ship Entertainment for National Geographic Kids Entertainment.

It sees young sibling duos travel the globe experiencing local events and festivals, visiting prominent landmarks and getting up close and personal with indigenous wildlife. The programme is however unscripted.

Two new sibling duos will be hosting and reporting duties this time (sisters Julia & Joanna and brothers Tristan & TJ), along with the original hosts- Molly & Sam and Rosie & Julian.

Destinations on the map for this season include Russia, Iceland, Turkey, Egypt, China and Italy.

Are We There Yet? is supported by arewethereyet.tv, a website that works on furthering the experience of the programme through games, interactive maps, unseen footages, podcasts and mobisodes.

"The website supports the show and has proved very appealing to buyers. With 35 original games and a whole host of interactive material, it has been compared to a mini Google Earth for pre-schoolers," said NGTI head of kids sales Karen Vermeulen.
