MUMBAI: In celebration of Earth Day, Jetix, the action, adventure and comedy block on Toon Disney US, will debut EnvirOlympics which are messages that challenge kids to become eco-heroes and provide them a chance to win a trip to the X Games.

The message will begin airing from 6 April and will be presented every Sunday throughout the month (6:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) and on Earth Day, which is 22 April.

The EnvirOlympics will feature green sporting events including 'The 100 Meter Trash,' 'Tree Planting Shot Put,' 'Recycling Cycling,' 'Low Watt Light Bulb Changing High Jump' and 'Water Conservation High Dive.' Competitors will be the Toon and Jetix characters including Yin, Yang, Master Yo, Kronk, Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, Jake Long, Lilo, Stitch and Gantu.

Throughout the month at the start of all programming, 'Weekly Green Facts' will show young viewers how they too can be an eco-hero and help the Earth.

Beginning 1 April, at Jetix.tv/green, kids can play in a series of environmentally-themed athletic events and enter a sweepstakes by answering green questions for a chance to win prizes.
