MUMBAI:
Taj Television Ltd, the owner of Ten Sports, has unveiled
its second studio, Studio 2, at the company's operations base
in Dubai Media City.
With a floor area of 300 sq metres, the new studio is equipped
with three cameras and is wired to handle a six-camera operation.

Television claims that its Studio 2 is larger than the majority
of studios in the region. It features a fully configurable
lighting grid using 76 assorted ARRI lights on pantographs
powered by a 96-channel ADB dimmer system, and controlled
by Mentor control desk, with water-level flooring, one full
black and two green curtains, four wallboxes for convenient
connectivity, a props storage bay, two voiceover booths and
a green room.

Television CEO Chris McDonald said, "The completion and
launch of Studio 2 is a significant milestone for Taj Television.
The new facility will see great demand from various television
channels and independent program producers."
The
new studio will help Taj Television accommodate its growing
number of channel and production clients. Studio 1 is completely
booked by channels like DirecTV USA, YesTV, Art Prime Sports,
Starhub Singapore, City7TV as well as Taj TV's Ten Sports'
Channels.
Some of the advanced equipment utilised in Studio 2 are Ikegami
cameras, Vinten Pedestals, auto script prompting, wireless
talkback and audio monitoring, large mobile LCD displays for
vision monitoring and wireless network connectivity.
