MUMBAI: Prime Focus has completed the post production
of its first major visual effects and animation project
called the Tales of Riverbank with the help of
VTR that the group had bought in 2006.
A
remake of children's series made in Canada 1960s,
Tales of the Riverbank features around 1000
VFX shots out of which majority have been finished
at post production facilities in Mumbai, Chennai and
Hyderabad.
While
remake had the live characters, the remake version
features the same characters as the first one but
in a puppetry form created using 3D animation.
Work
on the film involved modeling 3D characters and backgrounds,
2D compositing and DI (digital intermediate) post.
A majority of the post production was completed in
India.
