MUMBAI: Compact Disc India Ltd (CDi) has secured a $15.70 million (around Rs 628 million) contract to outsource Eternal Love, an animation feature film revolving around the Taj Mahal.

This film is scheduled for release in December 2009.

Some Hollywood celebrities are also involved in this project. The plan is to produce a live action feature film as well as a musical drama for Broadway simultaneously.

CDi claims to be currently executing projects worth $40 million.

The company is into production of outsourcing and co-production projects. This is the second animation contract that the company has bagged. Prior to this, CDi had 3000 B.C. animation film project worth $19.80 million.
