MUMBAI: Former Disney executive Rashmi Turner, exec
producer of the Baby Einstein DVD series, has launched
'Global Wonders', a new children's multicultural education
and entertainment brand.
Also
joining Global Wonders from The Walt Disney Co. are
Dave Burchianti as VP of marketing and brand development,
and Danielle Melcher as VP of production.
The
venture is dedicated to introducing children to different
customs, music, languages and lifestyles. A line of
animated DVDs, music CD, online games and other products
will begin to roll out at retail this fall.
Each
DVD program, created for children 2-7 years, will include
new music, animated characters, personally relevant
cultural themes and authentic sights and sounds from
around the world.
