MUMBAI:
Digital marketing agency Id8 Labs has made some top level
appointments. Vivek Saurabh has come on board as CEO while
Tanmay Mohanty has been elevated as COO.
Saurabh
will be based in New Delhi and will set up Id8 Labs' Delhi
operations.
Meanwhile,
Sheetal Vora has been made chief operating officer of a new
internet venture that the company is incubating. She has been
with the company since inception and will also hold additional
charge as vice president corporate affairs, Id8 Labs.
"Vivek
has been brought on board to convert id8 labs into a centre
of excellence. Id8 Labs today has a 125 member team, which
we plan to double in the next one year. Given such a diverse
team, operations and practices and processes become critical.
Vivek will work towards implementing six sigma practices in
the company," said Id8 Labs MD Amit Tripathi.
Id8
Labs was earlier known as WebPercept and was managed as a
joint venture between Percept and Tripathi's Netweb Solutions.
After Percept exited the JV, the company was renamed id8labs.
Saurabh
has earlier headed Genpact's centre of excellence and prior
to that was marketing head for Idea Cellular Ltd in the Delhi
and NCR region.
Mohanty
was earlier the head strategy and business development with
Id8 Labs and in that capacity has spent two years with the
company.
