The third India Radio Forum in Mumbai organised by Partners
in Media Asia will take place on 30 May. The international
radio broadcast arena will provide a venue for radio professionals
and the advertising fraternity to discuss current issues concerning
the rapidly burgeoning radio industry in the country.
This
years India Radio Forum has adopted the theme of Pump
up the Volume: Integrate, Innovate and Evolve.
Commenting
on this years session topics, Partners in Media sales
director Rajika Mittra says, As is the case every year,
this years session topics have been designed, through
careful research, to be as relevant as possible to the current
needs of industry executives.
It
is our aim that the sessions organised at the forum, whether
it is the presentations given by international industry experts,
or issues debated in our panel sessions, will enlighten and
inspire professionals to propel the industry to greater heights,
adds Mittra.
This
years forum presentations will feature topics ranging
from creativity in the 21st century, branding strategies in
a cluttered market to insights of audience management studies
from around the globe.
Speakers
at the India Radio Forum 2008 will include Brand Supports
founder Christoph Pöschl; Creative Animal Internationals
president Doug Harris; Germanys Radio FFNs programme
director Ina Tenz and RadioGurus founder and owner Palle
Bo.
The
Indian radio industry will debate such issues as Balance
Sheet: Giving Advertisers More Bang for their Buck;
"Let Us Hear It: What do Advertisers Want?; Show
Me the Money: Finding Revenue on Radio; and the India
Radio CEO dialogue on the State of the Industry: Challenges
& Opportunities.
The
core of the forum has always been a celebration of the importance
of radio in the media industry. In line with this, radio has,
no doubt, always been the voice of the forum, and we take
great pride in being able to inform and update local and international
FM players about the growth and impact of the FM industry
in India, shares Mittra.
