NEW DELHI: Starting 29 April, every Tuesday at 9 pm Discovery Travel & Living will air Three Sheets - a travel show that will cover various destinations around the world, promising to take viewers on an unconventional travel and drinking adventure.

The show will cover drinking customs and learn little-known facts about how different drinks are made and consumed around the world during the course of the series.

The series is hosted by Zane Lamprey, who has had a varied career. He is a comedian, actor, editor, producer, bon vivant and writer for television and movies. He was also a series regular on MTV's Damage Control and the host of VH1's reality show Motormouth.

Discovery Travel & Living already has a long-running 'travel and drinking' series in Thirsty Traveller but the channel maintains this show will be different.

"Just because two programmes cover the same area don't make them identical in content. The host is different and so is his approach. You will see that this series will give you a different picture even if some of the episodes cover a place already visited by the Thirsty Traveller," said Discovery Networks India Associate Director for Marketing and Communications Rajiv Bakshi.

The channel guarantees that there will not be the conventional narratives about landmarks, architecture and regional art. Viewers will discover all these things but they will do so while experiencing real people, when they let their guard down, loosen up and go three sheets.

Currently there are eight episodes lined up and they cover Europe, Central America and Mexico. The European destinations are Belgium, Wales, France and Ireland while Central America will include Costa Rica, Jamaica and Belize.
