MUMBAI: Zapak.com and Cartoon Network have joined hands to offer an exclusive section of the Cartoon Network online games on Zapak.com.

The website will soon have over 40 Cartoon Network action-adventure packed online games.

Featuring iconic Cartoon Network toon stars from shows such as Johnny Bravo, Code Name Kids Next Door, Dexter's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed, Edd N Eddy, amongst others, these games have been specially created to enhance the gaming Cartoon Network experience.

The site currently offers over twenty Cartoon Network games.

Launching these games, Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd COO Rohit Sharma said, "The long dormant, on-line games market in India is poised for a huge growth and is expected to exceed USD 200 million by 2010. As per the latest I-Cube 2007 data, kids in India spend 21 per cent of their time on the internet for entertainment which is up from 18 per cent in 2006. Activities such as online gaming, video etc. has increased share of entertainment from 8 per cent in 2006 to 13 per cent in 2007.
