MUMBAI:Disney channel Latin America has acquired the cable TV rights of the Spanish pre schooler series Zoo Mix (104 x 3) produced by Neptuno Films on the eve of MIPTV.

The series is an interesting exploration of the world of animals.

Zoo Mix is designed for pre-school kids and presents fascinating facts about the lives and habits of animals.

The narration describes each animal’s life in a way that helps young viewers to understand and respect the natural world.

The Flash-animated series features simple, rounded designs and tells the story of one species in each episode, focusing on exotic animals from the jungle or the savannah.

The complete series will be ready for delivery and distribution in fall this year.

“We are very proud that Disney Channel Latin America has chosen to back our content in this way. We are confident that more international cable channels, especially within Europe, will be acquiring our latest animated series during the market. We are currently in the process of negotiating several presales contracts, which we hope to be able announce very soon,” says Neptuno Films MD and co-founder Cristina Bradner.

The arrival of Zoo Mix is preceded by few other series from Neptuno, including Connie the Cow and Sea Princesses, in co-production with Southern Star and Flamma Films.
