Nimbus Sport signs deal with Channel 2 Group

MUMBAI: Nimbus Sport has entered into an exclusive agreement with Channel 2 Group Corp. to provide television and radio content, of all matches being played under the aegis of BCCI live.

The deal commences with the India-Australia series and will continue till March 2010.

This deal brings exciting cricket content played in India to the viewers & listeners of Kenya (Television and Radio), South Africa (Radio) and UK (Radio – Hindi and Urdu).

Nimbus Sport VP international and syndication Vikram Das said, “Keeping the demands of millions of fans in mind, we are delighted to partner with Channel 2 to share the exciting cricketing action of all internationals played in India till 2010 under the aegis of BCCI live.

Channel 2 group gas a terrestrial reach of about 85 per cent in Kenya. The radio coverage too will capture the pulses of the listeners through enjoyable and up-to date content. With this agreement, we are certain that together we will be able to provide compelling and exciting cricketing content to all viewers.”

Channel 2 Group chairman Ajay Sethi said, “Nimbus Sports has very exciting cricketing content to offer and we are happy to share it with our viewers & listeners. With our strong network support, will be able to reach out to target audiences and entertain them starting with the upcoming India- Australia series this month.”
