MUMBAI:
People Pictures, the films and entertainment division of People
Group, announced the appointment of Aditya Shastri as its
CEO.
The
appointment comes close on the heels of the People Group's
announcement of its foray into film production.
Prior
to joining People Pictures, Shastri was handling the CEO's
profile for the corporate division of UFO Moviez, an official
release states. He has also held the chief operating officer's
position for UTV Motion Pictures previously and brings with
him over a decade's experience in film marketing and production.
People
Pictures is working on a slate of films currently, and is
set to start four major projects over the next 18 months.
