MUMBAI:Continuing
with the devotional mood post Ganesh Visarjan, Star Gold will
air a series of mythological films in the branded slot called
Solah Shukravaar which will kick off from 28 September
at 1 pm.
The 16-week festival of mythological movies, will feature
religious movies made over the years.
Taking
the audiences through this devotional journey will be Sudha
Shivpuri, who is fondly known as Baa from Kyunki Saas Bhi
Kabhi Bahu Thi.
Commenting
on this initiative, Star India VP marketing Prem Kamath said,
"With the festive spirit at its peak for the next two
months, what better time to showcase mythological movies.
Star Gold has always been consistent in packaging movies keeping
in the mind the convenience and timing of viewers, which helps
create sufficient interest."
Some of the movies lined up in the slot are Sai Baba, Jai
Santoshi Maa, Krishna - aayo Natkhat, Maa Shakti, Sanschipt
Ramayan, Jai Dakshineshwar Kali Maa, Shiv Mahima, My friend
Ganesha, Tirupati Shree Balaji ,Shree Raghavendra, Jai Vaishnodevi
Maa, Desh Devi Maa Ashapura to name a few.
