Cinemax launches 3-screen multiplex at Panipat

MUMBAI: Cinemax has launched it's new multiplex in Panipat, Haryana. The multiplex facility has three screens and a total seating capacity of 720.

This takes the total number of Cinemax multiplexes in the country to 14 with 42 operational screens.

Called as Cinemax Angel Prime Mall, the multiplex opened up its plush and high tech interiors to movie goers with three films - Dhol, Chak De and Dhamaal.

Speaking at the launch, Cinemax India Ltd VP marketing and programming Devang Sampat said, "We at Cinemax have provided cinema lovers in Mumbai with the best movie-viewing experience for 10 years now, be it due to our screen size, picture, sound quality or the innovative consumer offers.

"With Cinemax Angel Prime Mall, we are aiming to make a grand entry into Haryana, which is a very important market for us and we are looking forward to offering Panipat the latest and best films. We are here to provide movie enthusiasts of Haryana a state-of-the-art entertainment complex as quality entertainment and comfort are the hallmarks of Cinemax and will be for years to come. This three screen multiplex will offer patrons an out of this world 'Cinemaxperience'," he said.

Besides the regular Bollywood flicks, Cinemax Angel Prime Mall will also host regional movies to suit the preferences of all its patrons. Each screen has 10 - 12 recliner seats were patrons can sink into their cozy sofas that recline up to 150 degrees and enjoy a personalized café service during the movie.

Cinemax has so far has hosted film premieres including Dhamaal, Nanhe Jaisalmer, Manorama-Six feet Under, Partner, Apne, Cheeni Kum, Swami, Dharm, Pirates of the Caribbean III, 300 and others at its facilities in Mumbai.

Cinemax is part of the Kanakia Group which has a track record of over 20 years in real estate development.
