UTV's Bindass to be available on Tata Sky

MUMBAI: UTV's Bindass, the youth oriented general entertainment channel (GEC) that launches on 24 September, will be available on the Tata Sky direct-to-home (DTH) platform.

 

Commenting on the tie-up with Tata Sky, Bindass CEO Zarina Mehta said, "Bindass is proud to associate with Tata Sky and we are confident that the platform will enable us to reach out to our target audience effectively."

UTV Global Broadcasting Limited executive director Shantonu Aditya said, "Tata Sky, with its superior quality of satellite transmission and interactivity, is an ideal platform for Bindass to reach its audience."

Currently Tata Sky offers subscribers over 120 television channels and interactive services. Within the first year of its launch, it has touched one million connections.

 

Tata Sky Ltd MD and CEO Vikram Kaushik said, "We are delighted that a high quality production house is launching a new general entertainment channel. Tata Sky is very pleased to make this exciting channel available to its rapidly growing subscriber base."

UTV's Bindass is a 360 degree fun and entertainment brand aimed at Indian audiences in the age group of 15-34 years, across television, internet, mobile and cafes.
