MUMBAI: Zapak has announced its association with fast food major McDonald’s ‘Happy Meal’ for kids to reward its gamers with prizes apart from international quality gaming content.

It has launched games worth Rs 299 for its gamers, free for download, with every McDonald’s ‘Happy Meal’. The foodies get a scratch card which reveals a unique code. This code can be entered at mcdonalds.zapak.com and the gamer has a choice of downloading one of the three games on offer – Bistro Stars, Rikki and Mikki and Magic Ball 3 for free.

The gamer can download the full version of these games and also get a chance to win many more prizes.

Zapak Digital Entertainment COO Rohit Sharma says, "There is no better medium to reach out to the youth today, than via games. After our initial tie-up with five acclaimed brands for advergaming and in-game branding, we have further capitalised on the opportunity of brand association.

"Zapak and McDonald’s being the most popular brands among kids, the association provided the perfect platform to communicate with the similar target audience we share with them.”

McDonald’s India MD Amit Jatia said, “We have a history of looking at unique ways to reach our target audience, including in-store and online promotions. Our partnership with Zapak has given us the opportunity to connect with our consumers looking for fun and entertainment. We are confident that this will drive traffic to our outlets and also to the McDonald’s-Zapak website.”
