MUMBAI:
The New Media Group has announced a tie-up with Christian
broadcaster Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN).
This
will bring up to four of TBN's channels to Japan and East
Asia.
TNMG
president Randy McGraw says, "We are happy to enter into
this agreement, its a landmark for us to offer Christian
content to the vastly underserved markets of Japan and East
Asia.
"Christians in this part of the world really don't have
content options, which is surprising as the communities are
large. Our platform welcomes all communities, and allows Christians,
Buddhists, Muslims, and other religions to find content suitable
for their homes, lives, and communities. TBN is a world-class
broadcast and content company."
TBN
president Paul Crouch says, "We are excited about this
new arrangement between Trinity Broadcasting Network and The
New Media Group utilizing TNMG`s new IPTV technology in Japan.
We also look forward to expanding into other Asian countries
with TNMG."
TNMG
will launch TBN's channels on its flagship IPTV platform World
On-Demand, that currently serves over 5,000 users in Japan.
The launch is scheduled for late November.
