MUMBAI:
Ten Sports has acquired the telecast rights of all international
cricket matches from South Africa and Zimbabwe for Asia and
the Middle East, including India and Pakistan.
The
channel already has the telecast rights of all international
cricket played in Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the West Indies,
states an official release.
Taj
Television Ltd CEO Chris McDonald said, "By acquiring
the telecast rights for South Africa and Zimbabwe, Ten Sports
has significantly added to its broadcasts of the worlds
best live cricket action. Our line-up of international cricket
now extends through the end of the decade."

other channel delivers the amount and quality of cricket that
Ten Sports does. And together with our top-class football,
hockey, golf and tennis properties, we have ensured that our
viewers will continue to enjoy the best of world sport,"
he said.
Starting
with the ongoing South Africa v Pakistan series, Ten Sports
features nine tours over the next nine months, including Indias
tours of Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
South
Africas busy season after their tour of Pakistan includes
a trip by New Zealand (November December 2007), and
by the West Indies soon after (December 2007 to February 2008).
