On
the first day there will be sessions on
sports broadcasting and the Commonwealth
Games. The speakers are Zee Sports CEO Himanshu
Modi, Neo Sports head engineering operations
Yogit Bindlish and IMG president Balu Nayar.
Orad will make a presentation on sports
production. The company offers virtual sets
for TV news, weather, entertainment, sports
shows that integrate live presenters and
actors with 3D, computer-generated animation.
On
26 October the focus will be on the delivery
platforms - cable, DTH and IPTV. There will
be a session dedicated to IPTV. The speakers
are IOL Broadband executive director AS
Oberoi, Time Broadband Services CEO and
MD Sujata Dev, MTNL GM broadband Peeyush
Agarwal, IOL Broadband MD Vinayak Hadkar
and Seachange MD Vishwajeet Deshmukh.
Another
key session will examine how Cas and DTH
have pentrated the market so far. The panellists
are Incablenet VP Anil Malhotra, Cable Operators
Federation of India president
Roop Sharma, Videocon.Group DTH head Hitesh
Sabarwal, DEN CEO cable distribution segment
Anuj Gandhi.
On
the third day HDTV will take centrestage.
The speakers are Zee TV technical head Amitabh
Srivastav, Visual Technologies India's Mehta,
Benchmark Micro Systems' Ashish Mukherjee,
Cinecita Comoptronics' Milan Gandhi, Doordarshan's
Jain, and Agiv India SC Oberoi.
Another session will look at digital cinema.
