Sony India expands its Bravia range of TVs

MUMBAI: Consumer electronics firm Sony has expanded its Bravia LCD range of TVs with the X, W and D series.

 

Sony India MD Masaru Tamagawa says, "These new range of LCD televisions is the embodiment of Sony’s high definition commitment. Sony continues to strengthen its leadership in LCD television by delivering the most advanced technologies such as the introduction of Sony’s advanced contrast enhancer to these new ranges of Bravia televisions.

Complementing the visual quality on the new range of Bravia TVs is Sony's S-Force Front Surround system with two integrated built-in television speakers for virtual surround sound.

Building on the introduction of the Bravia range, Sony has unveiled not just HD-ready but full HD capable LCD televisions representing the next step in high definition realisation.

 

Sony says that the new Bravia X-Series has 1080p Full HD resolution, large screen sizes and the unique elegance of the ‘Floating Design’ mark it out as something special. All models are have the Brushed Metal bezel.

Together with the new 10-bit panel, the series is capable of displaying up to 1024 individual steps of colour gradation. Also Sony’s Motion Flow technology reproduces the motion of fast moving objects on the televisions.

Theatre Mode brings out the cinematic qualities of film, while PhotoTV HD reveals the hidden detail in digital photos and uses the huge resolution of the Full HD screen to maximum effect.

Another important factor in the D-Series range is the one-touch Home Theatre control feature that allows the consumer to connect all home entertainment equipments with the LCD TV for the one-touch Home Theatre control feature.
