Navarre in deal with Nick US for SpongeBob PC game

MUMBAI: Navarre which publishes and distributes physical and digital home entertainment and multimedia products, has signed a distribution agreement with kids broadcaster Nickelodeon to distribute the Monopoly: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition PC game to retailers throughout the US.

Navarre Distribution Services president Brian Burke said, "We are excited to be the exclusive distributor for the Monopoly: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition game. This game incorporates two powerful and well recognized brands in the entertainment space and we look forward to strong consumer demand as we head into the holiday season."

Nickelodeon Digital Products VP Shaul Olmert added, "With the combination of two iconic brands coming together in one product, and with Navarre behind it, we anticipate a successful partnership at retail."

The game brings the classic Monopoly game play experience to life in a digital format with mini-games and more. It allows players to bend the traditional rules to play in SpongeBob,
Squidward or Plankton modes. The game is geared towards kids between the ages of 6 and 11 and is priced at $19.99. PC and Mac versions of the game will also be available for download online.
