MUMBAI: Nick which has created a new home cinema slot for Sunday mornings, is screening a series of live action movies. On 14 October, it will screen 'The Duke', which tells the story of the Duke of Dingwall, who's the village resident nobleman.

No one takes care of the commoners of Dingwall better than The Duke and his hound, Hubert. Upon learning the evil plans of his cousin, Cecil, the duke on his deathbed announces that the royalty would go to the dogs.

He leaves his estate and family jewels to Hubert and appoints Charlotte as Hubert's sole guardian, leaving Chives, firmly in charge of things as the estate's senior butler.

What ensues is a tale full of drama, love, trust and betrayal. Hubert falls in love with Charlotte's dog, Daisy. Cecil and his nasty girlfriend train a French poodle, Coquette, to lure Hubert away from Daisy. For a while, it seems like Cecil's plan is working.

In short order, a wedding day is organized for Coquette and Hubert. As Coquette walks down the aisle and Hubert seriously questions his choice, Cecil tries to steal The Duke's jewels.

A mad chase and food fight ensues, involving Hubert and all the guests. By the end, the guests are rumpled and the decorations destroyed, but the jewels are saved and Hubert marries his only true love--Daisy.
