Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive revolves around the pursuit to track down the seven magnificent jewels from seven galaxies, which adorn the 'Crown of the Gods', and is said to bestow ultimate power to the wearer of the crown encrusted.

Dark forces from the past awaken and search for the seven missing jewels. If found and placed in the Crown, evil will be unstoppable. The jewels must therefore be found and secured or evil will clinch the Crown of the Gods.

This time around the Rangers' mission will see them exploring, operating and combating in many different countries around the world.

The search of the jewels for the Crown of the Gods will take them to Atlantis, islands in the Atlantic and Pacific, Saint Lucia, Istanbul, London, Portugal, Indonesia, Norway, Mexico, Egypt, Florida, and Greece while Rotuma Island, Australia, Brazil, and Stonehenge will be witness to battles fought between the Rangers and the villains.
