Kerala gets first private FM station; Radio Mango launches

MUMBAI: Malayala Manorama's Radio Mango 91.9 FM is launched in Kozhikode. It is the first private FM radio station in Kerala.

Radio Mango will launch three more stations at Kochi, Kannur and Thrissur.

Besides music, it will offer a variety of entertainment programmes like humour, city updates, sports, celebrity interviews, finance snippets and fashion overviews

The government has given a nod to the launch of 17 new FM radio stations in Kerala.
