Star One to refurbish 8 pm slot with two shows

MUMBAI: Star One is refurbishing its 8 pm slot by introducing new shows in December. Reality show Lead India, starting 8 December, is slotted on Saturday. Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah airs from 10 December on Mondays to Thursdays.
 


In association with Bennett Coleman Group, Star One's reality show Lead India will have a simulcast on Star Utsav, along with voting special episodes on Star Plus every Sunday at 7.30 pm.

The reality show is a series of 10 episodes where eight contestants from Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad will compete with each other for prize money of Rs 5 million. The show will be hosted by Anupam Kher and the jury consists of Kiran Bedi, Jawed Akhtar and Vikas Singh.

Produced by DJ's, Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah is a story about a shy girl who enters the world of a male dominated profession as a chef.

Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah is a show which introduces new faces coupled with fresh talent and a heart warming storyline. Bringing in a different flavor, the show has an equal mix of humour, fun and drama and still strongly touches upon the emotional aspect."
