Indiagames to distribute Glu's mobile content in India

BANGALORE: Indiagames has partnered with publisher of mobile games Glu Mobile (Glu) to exclusively distribute their catalogue of wireless content in India.

The Glu Mobile content will be available for download on all leading telecom operator deck portals across India and also from the Indiagames mobile gaming portal http://mobile.indiagames.com.

 

As part of the agreement, Indiagames will distribute games, wallpapers and ringtones for a number of Glu's titles including Age of Empires® III Mobile, Atari® Legends 3, with classic games such as Pong®, Asteroids Deluxe® and Super Breakout®, Brian Lara's Cricket 2008, Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™, Insaniquarium™ Deluxe, DC Comics, Kasparov Chess, Looney Tunes and Zuma™, amongst others.

 
"It is Glu's goal to be the leading developer and publisher of mobile games worldwide, and our partnership with Indiagames supports our strategy to bring our award-winning games to a wide audience of consumers around the world," said Glu Mobile senior vice president of global publishing Jill Braff. "We see tremendous opportunity for Glu games in India, and our partnership with Indiagames will allow us to expand our global audience for our award-winning titles," he added.

Indiagames has distribution agreements with global mobile content publishers like Electronic Arts, I-Play, In-Fusio, Selatra, Taito, THQ Wirless and Warner Bros., amongst others.

Glu portfolio of top-rated games includes original titles Super K.O. Boxing!, Stranded and Brain Genius, and titles based on major brands from partners including Atari, Activision, Konami, Harrah's, Hasbro, Warner Bros., Microsoft, PlayFirst, PopCap Games, SEGA and Sony.
