Rediff iShare to showcase content from Zoom channel

MUMBAI: Zoom's content will now be available on Rediff iShare's video platform.

The Zoom channel on Rediff iShare will showcase clips from their popular shows such as Page 3 (which offers insights into the lives of Bollywood celebs), Popkorn (masala updates from Bollywood) and Lets Talk (celebrity interview show).


Commenting on the partnership Zoom TV business head M K Anand said, "As we move into entertainment 2.0 world, our partnership with Rediff.com is a reflection of our commitment to embrace new media platform and explore news ways to delight our audiences. Rediff iShare is a new destination for watching entertaining content on internet and we see this as great opportunity to learn and create new form of entertainment and build a community around our content by reaching out to global audiences on internet."

This is the first non-exclusive content partnership for Rediff iShare, which will be promoted as a branded Zoom channel on Rediff iShare, stated an official release.


Speaking about Rediff.com's plans for content partners, Rediff.com VP marketing Manish Agarwal said, "Rediff ishare offers an excellent opportunity for offline media companies to leverage our video distribution platform. It provides them an additional outlet to reach out and engage with younger target audience which is increasingly spending more time online. We are happy to make a beginning with a leading entertainment channel like Zoom and will work continuously with other media partners to provide diverse mix of exciting content available online."

Users will be able to comment on clips, rate them, recommend them to friends and post their own video responses.
