Ten kids who were selected as Captains for 2007-08 from cities across India are Amulya Sharma (Indore), Grusha Prasad (Hyderabad), Mathaious Vallikappem, (Bangalore), Jasjot Singh Kawatra (New Delhi), Sanchit Arora (Kolkata), Anmol Gupta (Jaipur), Anishka Sharma (Ludhiana), Sneha Ramanan (Mumbai), Shreya Banerjee (Lucknow) and Param Vyas (Ahmedabad).

The talented ten got an insight into responsibilities for their year-long tenure as Captains. They got to know the rest of the Captains hailing from other cities. The team also met all the business heads of The Walt Disney Company (India). The captains will be rewarded through a talent-support and training program during their tenure as a captain by Hungama TV.

Walt Disney Television International India head of programming and production Aparna Bhosle, said, "At the heart of everything we do at Hungama TV, it's the voice of Captains. We are glad that our 10 city, three month long search has resulted in identifying this year's captains. We are confident that our new captains will successfully shoulder the responsibility of maintaining Hungama TV leadership in this space."

Since its inception in 2004, Hungama TV has made children an integral part of all key decisions from research to programming to marketing and distribution. Three successive boards of kid-directors have been over, ensuring that the kids are empowered to make decisions across all divisions.

This year the premise of the hunt was associated with the 'Mad fun' positioning of the channel.
