MUMBAI:
B.A.G Films and Media Ltd is on a hiring spree. The company,
currently foraying into television, has made two new recruitments.
Gursheel Walia has joined as programming head for its upcoming
glamour channel and Atul Gupta has joined as head of distribution.
Walia
has been with Star and Sony and has to her credit creation
and launch of some notable programmes in the Hindi general
entertainment genre. She has also created and promoted many
prime time shows, afternoon programming and events like Screen
awards and Filmfare awards amongst others.
Meanwhile,
Gupta was heading distribution for Channel 7 (IBN7) and was
instrumental in making the channel visible in more than 20 million
homes on day one of its launch. He has also headed Sadhna TV
nationally and MTV regionally. He started his career with Sony
Entertainment Television and later as member of the core team
that launched AXN and Setmax in Asia. |
