MUMBAI:
Star and now TV announced the launch of Channel [V] Taiwan,
in Hong Kong on 31 May. The channel will debut on now TV which
is the exclusive Hong Kong distribution platform for Star
channels.
Channel
[V] Taiwan will join now TV's existing Channel [V] lineup,
which includes Channel [V] India, Channel [V] International
and Channel [V] Mainland China.
Star
Taiwan GM Jason Siu said: "Channel [V] Taiwan has been
captivating the youth audience across Taiwan with popular
programmes and music events and, starting from tomorrow, viewers
in Hong Kong will have the chance to experience the same compelling
programming."

Janice Lee, said: "The launch of Channel [V] Taiwan exclusively
on now TV, further enriches our music and entertainment content
and demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement
in terms of quality and variety for customers. We are confident
that Channel [V] Taiwan will be very well received by Hong
Kong's substantial youth market."
Channel
[V] Taiwan will be staging this year's le party in
Kaohsiung. Now TV viewers will be able to see the outdoor
concert on Channel [V] Taiwan on 16 June from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Channel
[V] Taiwan will be available on now TV (Channel 557) for a
monthly subscription fee of HK$12 (discounts available for
mini-pack plan), says an official release.
