MUMBAI:
Close on the heels of the appointment of Joseph T Joseph as
the business head for its headquarters in Delhi, Midtech has
now roped in former Star India CFO Sandip Khosla.
In
this capacity as CFO, Khosla will play a key role in strengthening
the company's financial systems and controls. Based in Delhi,
he will report to CEO Nikhil Alva.
Making
the announcement Alva said, " We are committed to building
the best management team in the production business here in
India and Sandip's appointment as CFO needs to be seen in
that context."
His
involvement with the television industry began in 1995, when
he joined Star TV as chief financial officer - cable operations.
He was part of Star's core team that managed the acquisition
of Zee's Cable business and was subsequently Star's representative
in the resultant joint venture. Later he took over as CFO
of Star TV's India operations.
After
a brief stint with Broadcast Worldwide as CFO, Sandip joined
British Airways in 2002 as their finance manager for South
Asia In Dec 2004, he was promoted as British Airways business
manager for South Asia.
