A silent comedy, the show is packed with loads of physical comedy and has a feast of visual gags and antics from the rubber faced David Schneider who plays the lead character - Uncle Max. The gag ideas are quirky and fresh using techniques such as fast and slow motion, crash zooms and camera "spins", to create a sense of a human cartoon, says an official release.

Every episode starts with Uncle Max picking up Luke from home to embark on a fun filled weekly adventure. In each outing Uncle Max and Luke face several problems, but because of Uncle Max's nature each catastrophe turns into an enjoyable experience. That's his nature and that's why Uncle Max is such good fun to be with.
