:Big 92.7 FM has launched in Goa today, taking its total number of FM radio stations
to 18.
The
new station has a long list of programmes specially customised for the Goa listeners.
Tiatrist Prince Jacob is the celebrity RJ on the Big Cha, with comedian
Eknath. RJ Uday hosts an interesting game show in the afternoon. A
youth show is hosted by RJ Priti and RJ Aryan. RJ Aryan joins Shekhar Suman to
help unwind the listeners after a tiring day while RJ Namrata takes over with
edgy emotional content, states a release. Big
92.7 FM offers content on utilities such as weather updates, fish and vegetable
prices, stock updates, time checks and health tips. Sunday
shows are more inclined towards interaction and local music. Remo Fernandes talks
to Big FM RJs, on Konkani and Goan influences on his music. The show also features
some of the best Goan folk songs. Next in the series is the most popular band
Forefront. Commenting
on the station's entry into Goa, Big 92.7 FM chief operating officer Tarun Katial
said, "The programming mix of the station has been put together after much
research and understanding of our listeners requirements. It is our aim to create
content that is relevant, credible and has high aspirational appeal to the listeners." |
