Hit Ent. promotes Byrne to head new global consumer products group

MUMBAI: Hit Entertainment has created a new global consumer products group and has elevated EVP international Peter Byrne to the position of EVP worldwide consumer products.

Assuming his new role immediately, Byrne will be responsible for the company's worldwide licensing, promotions, brand and retail marketing and creative functions. Reportedly, he will also oversee the live events strategy and theme park ventures.

Based in London, Byrne will report to CEO Bruce Steinberg.
