Disney's Genie fulfils wishes of kids in Delhi hospitals

NEW DELHI: Walt Disney's magical character Genie (from the Aladdin story) fulfilled wishes of children suffering from life-threatening illnesses at hospitals in Delhi.

To support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of India, Genie spread hope and cheer among children at the Apollo Hospital Auditorium. A similar event at the AIIMS auditorium also included a special screening of the movie Aladdin.

Genie made his first public appearance in India to celebrate 11 successful years of fulfilling wishes of suffering children across the country.

Uday Joshi, Founder &. Managing Trustee, Make-A-Wish Foundation of India appreciated Disney's support and said, "Disney has been a very important supporter of Make-A-Wish Foundation of India."

Genie will also be visiting children in the hospitals of Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Goa.
