Al Jazeera Children's Channel hosts 'Voyage to the Future' competition

MUMBAI: Al Jazeera Children's Channel (JCC), Pan Arabic edutainment channel, is conducting an environmental competition for Arab Children titled 'Voyage to the Future.'

The JCC website (www.jcctv.net) will host this competition for two weeks giving three participants the opportunity to win a trip to Mongolia.

A member of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), which is organizing the event, Al Jazeera Children's Channel will take participants on an excursion to Mongolia for 10 days starting 21 July; where they will study the different aspects of the desert environment and nature, focusing on key species, the challenges they face, the behaviors they exhibit and the adaptations that enable them to survive, informs an official release.

JCC camera crew will accompany the winners to Mongolia during the 'Voyage to the Future' journey and will produce a number of reports to be broadcast later this year, adds the release.
