Toonz to bring 'Mr. Bean' merchandise to India

MUMBAI: Toonz Licensing has inked a deal with Tiger Aspect Productions to bring merchandise of film and television character Mr. Bean, to the South Asian market.

Toonz CEO Jayakumar said, "Mr. Bean already has a huge fan following in South Asia, thanks to the success of live and animated television series. We believe this deal with Tiger Aspect will propel the brand to a new level."

Toonz Licensing is Mr Bean's licensing agent for India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal and London based Tiger Aspect Productions is the television producer of the comedy series Mr. Bean whose charcater is portrayed by Rowan Atkinson.

Toonz Licensing, is the licensing and merchandising arm of multimedia entertainment company Toonz Animation.
