| MUMBAI:
Star Plus has lined up a slew of programming initiatives in tune with Independence
Day celebrations. Kicking
off the day is Azaadi Express, a special on ground event hosted by Sajid
Khan and Sarita Joshi of Baa of Bahoo Bahoo Aur Baby fame along with a
host performances from TV and Bollywood celebrities. This will be aired from 10
am to 1 pm. In
the afternoon slot, the regular shows like Kumkum and Karam Apna Apna
will be replaced by a special slot called 'Azaadi Ke Rang Dopahar Ke Sang' from
1 pm to 2.30 pm. This section will rope in the telly stars from afternoon shows
to engage in fun through games and performances. This will be followed by the
movie Krrish at 2:30 pm. The
channel will also air a special two hour episode of Amul Star Voice of India
- Independence Day Special from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The participants will
commemorate the country's 60th year of Independence by singing patriotic songs. |
