MUMBAI: Religious channel Zee Jagran is all set to premiere the 3-D animation film Bal Hanuman on 28 July at 5 pm catering to family entertainment.

Mythologicial themes are increasingly being used as storylines for animated films in India. Earlier Silver Toons' animated movie was also based on Hanuman's childhood creating a craze among Indian children.

Several Hanuman movies have been centered around the theme of Hanuman's contribution to Lord Ram's victory over Lanka. Bal Hanuman is a story of Hanuman's childhood which shows him playing pranks, be it frightening the Sadhus, trying to swallow the sun or getting punished for his mischief.
