'Cricket Star' ropes in Dav Whatmore for second season

MUMBAI: Emerging Media has announced that former Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore will be the director of the circket academy for the second season of the cricket based reality show Cricket Star.

Whatmore will also provide cricket tips to the aspiring young cricketers. The Academy will be set up in October and within a week of the Academy being set up,the show will start airing on Ten Sports, Zee TV and DD. 20 cities will be covered as opposed to 11 cities in the first edition.

Earlier Cricket Star appointed Ipan, which is part of JWT group, as its public relations agency.
