MUMBAI: Disney's sister channel in India, Jetix has kicked off a school contact programme modeled on a mock military boot camp titled 'Jetix Action Academy.' The initiative will visit over 600 schools across 20 cities in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka to enthrall over 4,00,000 kids in South India.

Walt Disney Television International (India) director - marketing and communications Tushar Shah said, "Through our latest offering- 'Jetix Action Academy', we plan to replicate the unique Jetix environment of fun filled action across classrooms in South India. We have creatively packaged our entertaining properties to create a riveting brand experience for our young Jetix fans".

The 'Jetix Action Academy' plans to engage kids in a series of fun-filled games designed around key shows such as Didi's Comedy Show, Goosebumps, Martin Mystery, Monster Warriors and Power Rangers Mystic Force.

The host will play a funny army sergeant to entertain kids during the action-packed on-ground initiative. Kids will also get an opportunity to win exciting goodies; over 35000 prizes are up for grabs for the participants during the sessions.
