Pogo gets 'Mirmo' to play with kids in Delhi

MUMBAI: Cartoon Network's Indian channel Pogo brought its primetime toon character Mirmo to New Delhi. The month of July will showcase a new season of the show which airs on the channel from Monday to Saturday at 5 pm.

Turner International India Pvt Ltd Vice President, Advertising Sales and Networks, India and South Asia Monica Tata said, "Pogo was launched for kids with the aim of giving them a feeling of 'It's My TV'. 'Meet and Greet with Mirmo' is a wonderful opportunity for kids to make their families meet their favourite toon. This being Mirmo's first trip to New Delhi, we are confident that kids would love the show and continue to enjoy our sincere efforts of bringing their favourite stars to them. We hope to organize many such events in the near future."

The company organized a host of activities including some on-the-spot contests, games, quizzes, etc. Off-stage games such as 'Hot Potato' and 'Balloon Hoppers' were also conducted, while Mirmo interacted with kid's and their families, states an official release.

Mirmo is a prince of the Muglox world. He is a pint-sized love fairy specializing in love requests that enters the human world by way of a mysterious cocoa mug, and gets into all kinds of trouble with his Muglox companions. Though summoned to help Katie, a cheerful eighth grade girl with a crush on her classmate Dylan, Mirmo indulges in mischief and feasts on Chocolates.
