MUMBAI: US broadcaster Fox's music-based reality show The Next Great American Band concluded with the crowning of The Clark Brothers, a Bluegrass/Country band from Nashville.

The band has received a contract with 19 recordings.

The finale had performances by the Goo Goo Dolls, Sheila E and C.O.E.D., as well as the top seven bands, who returned to perform a special holiday medley.

Dominic Bowden, the show's host, revealed that The Clark Brothers received the most votes, eliminating Denver & the Mile High Orchestra, a big/swing band from Nashville and Sixwire, a country band also from Nashville.

MSN, which was the online partner for the show, created a hyperlink http://nextgreatband.msn.com where fans can hear their favourite band's performances.
