| MUMBAI:
Two FM stations have hit the airwaves of Puducherry. Reliance ADAG's Big FM has
launched its 41st station in Puducherry, while Malar Publications' Hello FM has
launched its sixth station.
Already
operational in places that include Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad,
Chennai, Kolkata and Bangalore among others, Big FM will launch
four more stations to complete its total count of 45 stations
across India.
Big
FM Pondicherry shows are Suprabatham, Inia Vazhtugal, breakfast show Big
Vanakkam, Chinna Chinna aasai, o Podu, Ennama Kannu and Ragasiyamaai
among others.

FM director South Sabita Kath said, "The programming
mix of the station has been put together after much research
and understanding of local requirements."
The
new Hello FM 106.4 FM in Puducherry gave away 1064 gold coins
to listeners throughout the day.

FM COO Rajeev Nambiar said, "Puducherry with its large
Tamil speaking population is a good radio market. With the
launch of this radio station we will be able to provide an
excellent platform for advertisers all over India to effectively
reach their target audiences down south through radio. We
are also planning to launch our radio station in Tiruchirapalli
very soon."
Hello
FM marketing head Charles said, "We will be rolling out
a lot of marketing activities to promote Puducherry radio
station effectively."
