MUMBAI: BabyFirstTV, USA's educational and child development
channel for babies and toddlers, has launched its subscription-based
programming service with Charter Communications.
BabyFirstTV's
executive VP of distribution Glenn Kopelson announced
the association that will make BabyFirstTV available
on cable throughout Alabama.
Charter
is the latest distribution platform for BabyFirstTV,
which reaches over 60 million homes worldwide via
such partners.
DirectTV,
Dish Network and Comcast in the US; BSKyB in the UK;
CanalSat in France; Rogers Cable and BellVue in Canada;
Sky and Cablevision in Mexico; One Link in Puerto
Rico and Showtime Arabia throughout the Middle East
look after the distribution of Charter.
BabyFirstTV
was also introduced recently in Asia, with distribution
to Korea and Taiwan.
"With
the launch on Charter, BabyFirstTV has become one
of the fastest-growing niche subscription services
in the country," claimed Kopelson.
